- Roster data — player names, in-game IDs (e.g. Riot ID), and roles.
- Competition data — match results, scores, rankings, and prize records.

You should only submit information for players who have consented to being registered. Captains are responsible for obtaining that consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Register, verify, and manage teams and rosters.
- Operate tournaments — scheduling, brackets, results, and rankings.
- Communicate with you about your registration, matches, and prizes.
- Display public competition information such as team pages, standings, and brackets.
- Administer prize payouts and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve and secure the Platform.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable law requires it, we process your data on the basis of your consent (given at registration), the performance of our services to you, our legitimate interests in operating fair competitions, and compliance with legal obligations.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to operate our tournaments, maintain historical records and rankings, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data as described below, subject to those obligations.

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore) with industry-standard security controls. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

- Google Firebase / Analytics — hosting, database, and usage analytics.
- Riot Games — game accounts and in-game identifiers you provide. Northbound Esports is not affiliated with Riot Games.
